The Scioto Society will be trying some new things this year to bring spectators and sponsorships back to the outdoor drama Tecumseh.

One big plus, is the return of Marion Waggoner as the drama's producer.
Waggoner says this could be a "critical year" for the drama after attendance declines in recent years.

He says they have seen a 40% decline in attendance for the drama, which started in the early 1970's.

Waggoner says they will be bringing back "Monday Night Special," which is a discount of almost 40% off, in hopes to reinvigorate people and bring them back to see the production.

Businesses and individuals are also encouraged to participate in the sponsorship program. Sponsorships range from $250 to $3,000.
