Adopt-A-Road Program

Posted April 28th, 2014 @ 5:38am

April and May are months being emphasized for cleaning along Ross County roadways. Ross Litter Control & Recycling is looking for individuals or groups wanting to participate in the Adopt-A-Road program.

To be in the program, a commitment is required to clean an approximate two mile stretch of county and township roadway of your choice as long as it a safe area, and has not already been adopted. You would clean the area twice a year of your choosing. Trash bags and trunks with safety vests and first aid kits are available to those who volunteer. A road sign would be posted naming you as a partner.

Ross Litter Control & Recycling will come and pick up the trash the following work day. If you require documentation for your effort, a certificate or a letter of recognition can be given. Call 772-5326 for sign-ups.
