The Scioto Township Fire Department offers a program for teens who might be interested in Fire and EMS. The Explorers Program is a way for young men and women in the community to learn what firefighters, EMT's, and paramedics do on a daily basis.

Participants in the program receive the same training as the firefighters and EMT's. Explorers also get the chance to go out on runs and see what happens on an actual scene and get to roll hose with the firefighters.

It's open to anyone in Ross County, and the program runs from 6:00PM to 8:00PM each Tuesday at Scioto Township's Station 1.
