Some workers in Ohio will get a ten-cent per hour increase January 1st.

Minimum wage workers in 13 states, including Ohio, will start getting larger paychecks. The federal minimum is currently $7.25 an hour. Starting the first of the year, Ohio worker's wages will go up to $7.95 an hour.

The highest is in Washington State.. at $9.32 an hour.
