The Chillicothe Paints made a check presentation to the family of Ohio State freshman pitcher Zach Farmer Saturday night.
Farmer, who was a high school All American baseball player at Piketon High School, is recovering from treatment for leukemia.
The team and the Ohio State Baseball Coaches hosted a clinic at VA Memorial Stadium with proceeds benefitting Farmer's organization ZF11.org. The check totaled $5.301.
On the field, the Paints defeated Lorain County 5-0.
