Ross County Sheriff George Lavender reports that his office was dispatched to a residence in the 3300 block of Moss Hollow Road Tuesday, shortly after midnight.

Deputies arrived on the scene and spoke to the victim who said that himself and a female were at his house watching television when a white male and a black male that the female knew showed up and watched television with them.

The victim said that both males started to assault him and then tied his wrist and ankles up. The victim said both males then stole numerous items from the residence.

The victim was transported by squad to Adena Regional Medical Center and then to Ohio State University Hospital due to the injuries he sustained in the assault. At the time of this release the victim was listed in stable condition.

The investigation has been turned over to the Detective’s Division. Investigators are currently trying to identify the two male suspects.
