Add another soldier in the local fight against drug abuse and drug trafficking.

Ross NAACP President Olie Burton
says the community needs more jobs to give people hope, so they will see there is something better than wasting away from drug abuse.

Burton also has set goals of getting more young people registered to vote.

Burton, who is in his final year as local NAACP Chapter president, says he is also hopeful that younger leadership in the organization will come along for 2015.
