Seymour Pleads Guilty in Rooney Traffic Death

A Bainbridge woman has pleaded guilty to causing a traffic accident last summer that took the life of a well-known Chillicothe attorney.

36-year-old Shira Seymour made the plea on the charge of aggravated vehicular homicide yesterday in Ross County Common Pleas Court.

Seymour was accused of driving drunk on U.S. Route 50 July 4th, when her vehicle crashed head-on with a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Annie Rooney.

Seymour will be sentenced February 11th, where she could get 2-8 years in prison.
