A Chillicothe woman who accepted over $21,000 in donations after claiming she was suffering from cancer and other ailments has been accepted into the diversion program. Ross County Prosecutor Matt Schmidt says Melinda "Mindy" Taylor must report to the diversion department twice a month for the next year, complete over 250 hours of community service, and must make a donation over $3,000 to a local charity since some of the money received was untraceable.

Schmidt says Taylor did reimburse all of the money contributed through her donation Web site at Youcaring.com.

Taylor had been indicted earlier this year for grand theft.
