A young boy has died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash in PikeCounty. According to the Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Donna Bowling, of Beaver, was driving northbound, just before 8am, Wednesday, failed to yield at a stop sign on Red Hollow Road, and was struck by a westbound vehicle on US 32 driven by 32-year-old Rebecca Adkins.

Authorities say Bowling was flown to St. Mary’s Hospital, while her passenger, 10-year-old Christopher Sprouse, of Beaver, who was ejected after impact, was taken to PikeCommunityHospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Adkins was not injured.
