Waverly Village Council met Tuesday night to discuss several items.

Mayor Greg Kempton delivered an extensive Mayor's Report. This included topics such as a grant for playground equipment, a Rumpke Contract that will add recycling service to Waverly, and following up on zoning fees that have gone overlooked for quite some time.

A first reading was heard by Council pertaining to the Waverly 220 Connector. The ordinance is aiming to create an earmark fund for use in financing the shortfall of funds necessary to construct the Waverly connector, above grant funds already dedicated to the project.

Also, a special discussion was held to consider a motion to ban concealed firearms in public parks.
