The City of Chillicothe will conduct its annual Floodgate Closure Exercise for the Main Street Flood Gate this Sunday, August 27th.
The training exercise will take place between 10:00 p.m. and midnight, and will require an approximate 2.5-hour a closure of East Main Street at the Charleston Pike Bridge, directly east of the US 23/35 on-off ramps.
The closure of East Main will begin at 9:30 p.m. and will last until about midnight. A detour will be established via Narrows and Marietta Roads.
