Detectives with the Chillicothe Police Department are investigating the death of an 18-year-old man, whose body was discovered along the riverbank of the Scioto River on New Year's Day.
The body of Isaiah Mejia was located along the river bed in the area of Northview Drive yesterday afternoon. That's in the area of the city located behind Zane Plaza.
Investigators say they saw no signs of foul play. They are awaiting the autopsy results to determine a cause of death.
