Denver Broncos defensive end Shaun Phillips was understandably upset about the outcome of the Super Bowl. He was upset that his team was destroyed but heartbroken that he couldn't win for his son Jaylen. But all is good is now because he happens to have an awesome son.
Phillips tweeted a screen grab of a text message he shared with his son immediately following the game. Phillips texted, "Sorry I let you down." His son Jaylen then responded, "That's OK daddy, you are still my hero." Suddenly losing the Super Bowl doesn't feel so bad. (Bleacher Report)
I'm a true Southern boy who's grown up on country music. Born and raised in South Carolina, I grew up in a small town (Newberry). I went to college then started my first radio "gig" working all night in Charlotte.
I'm married with 3 kids. In my spare time I like to play golf, fish when I can, play drums, and watch my kids do anything.
My claim to fame is I had to go up against William "The Fridge" Perry in high school football. Still have nightmares about it.
