Chillicothe Residents Face Trafficking Charges After Traffic Stop in Pickaway County

Two Chillicothe residents are facing charges of Trafficking and Possession following a report of a possible drunk driver in Pickaway County.

According to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, a report was made around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a suspected drunk driver on U.S. 23 southbound.

A sheriff’s deputy located the suspect’s orange Camero on U.S. 23 in the area of Huston Street in Circleville. Following a traffic stop, the deputy’s K9 alerted to the vehicle. A subsequent search of the Camero led to the discovery of more than one pound of methamphetamine, as well as a large amount of cash and cocaine.

The driver, Jason Baker, and his passenger, Teresa Zlater, both of Chillicothe, were each arrested and charged with Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs.
