The Ross-Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce will hold a Cash Mob in downtown Chillicothe this Wednesday, June 7th. A cash mob is a group of people who assemble at a local business to make purchases.
Randy Davies, with the Chamber, says the event is meant to encourage support of both the local businesses and the overall community.
"If you want to join us for the Cash Mob, we're going to meet at Paint and Water, right there at the bicentennial bell, at 5:15 p.m. We're going to give you some clues as to the downtown location. You then go out and spend at least $10.00, talk to some folks, and enjoy the evening," said Davies.
Davies says the Chamber hopes to hold a Cash Mob once a month throughout the summer. For more information, contact the Ross-Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce.
