Sharing the Art and Library of Kathryn Gough

Chillicothe's college campus highlighted a growing book collection from a prominent local artist.

"Sharing the Art and Library of Kathryn Gough" was the title for the gathering at Ohio University - Chillicothe, Sunday, June 24th, 2017.

The "Gough Art Memorial" so far has grown to more than 200 books, from the collection of the late artist...who painted flowers, bird people, Celtic ornament, and Hopewell art.

Quinn Library Director, Brandi Weaver, explained the Gough family contacted her in 2015 and offered Kathryn's personal library.  Weaver says you can browse Kathryn's inspiration, and then view some of her work.  Finished and unfinished work by Kathryn Gough is on display in the gallery there.

Although the library is a part of OU, it's also a community library where residents can access 70,000 publications, and millions online.
