As part of the City of Chillicothe 2017 Street and Alley project, paving will start on Monday for Fairway Avenue, from Allen Street to Arch Street.
Paving will also be done this week on:
- Vine Street, from Arch Street to East Water Street
- Caldwell Street, from West 5th Street to West 8th Street
- Neal Avenue, from South Sugar Street to Maple Avenue
- Alley between Madison/Jefferson, and Jackson/Douglas
Residents will have access to their homes, but there may be some delay. Trash services will be provided as usual.
All other motoring traffic is advised to plan for alternate routes in this location. Be aware that large slow-moving vehicles will be in the area.
Use caution, be patient and obey all traffic control, including construction flaggers while in or near the construction area.
Some dust and disruption of routes to and from destinations should be expected.
