Dewine Mentions SE Ohio at Drug Conference

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has keynoted a conference in Columbus and talked about why drug trafficking is a huge problem in high poverty areas, such as the three counties involved in breaking up the drug ring in McConnelsville, Marietta and Caldwell.

Seven people were indicted in the past week in McConnelsville, Marietta and Caldwell. Investigators say the arrests all connected to a drug ring there.

DeWine says four in ten people applying for certain types of blue collar jobs are unemployable because they test positive for drugs.
