Ohio Bans Abortions In Down Syndrome Cases

24/7 News Source (Columbus, OH)  --  Doctors in Ohio are no longer allowed to perform abortions in cases where the fetus may have Down syndrome.  Republican Governor John Kasich signed the bill into law Friday that bans abortions after prenatal tests show Down syndrome or if there's any other reason to believe the fetus has the genetic condition.  Under the law, the person performing the abortion could face a felony charge and lose their medical license.  The woman seeking the abortion would not be held accountable.
