February is "Black History Month" and the Chillicothe/Ross Public Library will host a February 15th event to bring attention to the observance.
Adrienne D'Souza says the keynote speaker that night will be Love Benton, a professor at Columbus State Community College as well as a teacher at Chillicothe High School.
A Chillicothe City employee will be the recipient of one of two awards to be presented by the Ross County NAACP
The event will be at 7pm inside the Main Library Annex, and is free to the public.
