The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash which occurred on State Route 772, in Pike County, at approximately 11:21am Saturday.
52-year-old Jeffrey A. Jenkins of Lucasville was ejected from his Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it overturned on State Route 772, when he traveled left of center. His wife, 54-year-old Deborah L. Jenkins, was a passenger on the bike and was also ejected.
Mr. Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County Coroner. Mrs. Jenkins was flown by MedFlight to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for her injuries.
