ASAP Bari Arrested In London For Sexual Assault

TMZ is reporting that A$AP Mob co-founder and fashion designer A$AP Bari has been arrested for sexual assault in London, England.

Authorities tell the news outlet that Bari was traveling overseas and made it to the U.K. city on Tuesday (May 15). Police officers already knew of the previous claims of him allegedly committing sexual assault against a woman last year and quickly arrested him at Heathrow Airport.

Many might remember a woman accusing Bari of assault in a hotel bedroom in 2017. There was also video footage that circulated around the internet that supported her claims. The clips show the woman laying in bed when Bari suddenly yanks the covers from off of her body. This is when viewers can see that she's naked. "You f****d my assistant, now you are going to f*** me," Bari can be heard saying to her.

The woman then tries to escape and tells him to stop. The video ends with her finally being able to run out of the bedroom. But, before she leaves, Bari slaps her on the butt and says, "Shut the f**k up b**ch." The alleged victim also said that things didn't end there. "She fled into a bathroom and he yelled, 'I'm going to f*** you, you are going to suck my d***.' He did not rape her, but she says he did throw her out naked into the hotel hallway," TMZ now reports.

The lady would later go on social media to speak about the incident. "I was forced into bed by Bari and his crew and Bari got upset because I refused to engage in any sexual acts," she said on Twitter.

After this initial report broke, other rappers such as A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti slammed Bari onstage, saying that they were against sexual assault and added that they weren't down with what they saw their friend do.

Bari knew that London officials were investigating the sexual assault incident before he even landed because they reached out to him for an interview. So, it's interesting that he felt like he would be OK going to the city. He's since been bailed out of jail. But, his passport was confiscated. So, he won't be able to leave England anytime soon.
