The inaugural edition of what is expected to be an annual Job Fair Expo in Pike County is set to take place this month, and organizers report more than 40 employers have made reservations so far.
The Workforce & Business Development Program and OhioMeansJobs are joining forces with the OSU Endeavor Center and the Small Business Development Center to offer the inaguaral Job Fair Expo Tuesday, May 22nd, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The OSU Endeavor Center on Shyville Road in Piketon.
Employers from Pike and surrounding counties, as well as various economic development and service agencies, will be in attendance offering assistance to job seekers and taking applications and resumes for a variety of open positions.
Industries being represented range from transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, and administrative with skills sets ranging from entry-level to professional.
The Job Fair Expo is free to all who wish to attend and job seekers need not register prior to the event.
