Ross Commissioners Plan to Vote Tuesday on Fee

The Ross County Commissioners are considering an additional $5 vehicle license fee to help finance roads and bridges.

None of the public was present at their first public hearing Friday morning.  The commissioners plan to vote after their second first public hearing 10am Tuesday in the Commissioners’ Chambers at the courthouse.

The specific language reads "a resolution levying a Five Dollar ($5.00) additional motor vehicle annual license fee pursuant to Section 4504.24 of the Ohio Revised Code for the purpose of adequately financing the planning, construction, improving, maintaining and repairing of public roads and bridges."

You can find the public notice with proposed resolution on the commissioners' page on the Ross County website.
