NAMI to Raise Mental Health Awareness with Showing of The Valley

The southern Ohio chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Heath, known simply as NAMI, is looking to bring mental illness front-and-center for May's Mental Health Awareness Month.

The group will host an exclusive screening of the 2017 award-winning independent movie, The Valley, this Friday at Chillicothe’s Majestic Theatre.

The Valley is a mystery-drama that tells the story of a father seeking answers after the devastating suicide of his daughter.

The film begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with tickets available at the door.

On Saturday, the Majestic will then move on to its monthly movie night series.

This month’s featured film is the 1988 Bob Hoskins and Christopher Lloyd film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

The film begins at 7:00 p.m. with tickets just $5.00 at the door.
