Adult Trial Status For Waverly Teen Expected in Late June

A judge will decide later this month if a Waverly teenager should be tried as an adult for stabbing a classmate at school on April 6th.

Police say the 16-year-old suspect was caught on security cameras stabbing a 17-year-old girl in the back. The victim survived.

The Pike County judge in the case ordered closing arguments to be submitted in writing by June 18th, with his decision after that.
