One Dead, Three Juveniles Injured in Pickaway Crash

A New York man was killed and three juveniles were injured as the result of a two-vehicle crash in Pickaway County, early Monday.


The State Highway Patrol says Jermaine Colon, 43, of Rochester, New York was traveling northbound along I-71 between Harrisburg and Mount Sterling shortly after 5:00 a.m. Monday when his vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway and struck a sign before continuing across the median divide and colliding with an oncoming semi. 


Colon was airlifted to Grant Medical Center where is succumbed to his injuries. Three juvenile passengers in Colon's vehicle were taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the rig was uninjured.
