Scioto Valley Conference football teams head into conference action September 14th, following a respectable (17-6) non-conference schedule in the first three weeks of play. Four of those teams are unbeaten (Paint Valley, Huntington, Westfall, Adena).
The four unbeaten SVC teams were all under the .500 won-loss record last year.
Paint Valley and Huntington have some of the most impressive offensive/defensive stats, with the Bearcats outscoring opponents 134-7 and the Huntsmen 106-7.
Only Piketon will go through the non-conference with a losing record.
