Waverly Police Chief Placed on Paid Leave


The Waverly police chief is on paid administrative leave while he is being investigated.


The Chillicothe Gazette is reporting that Chief Larry Roe was placed on paid administrative leave at the end of August "pending the completion of an investigation of allegations of work-related misconduct" against him while serving as a village employee.


Roe, who has been the Waverly Police Chief since 2001, was also ordered to return any village property or equipment.
