Toll Bells 11am Today on Armistice Day

11am today, November 11th, is the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, the end of The War to End All Wars - also known as World War I.  You can participate by tolling bells at that time.

The US World War I Centennial Commission and its partners call on Americans everywhere to participate in this national event to honor of the 116,516 Americans who died in World War I.  Toll your bells 21 times at 5 second intervals at 11am local.

Use #TollTheBells on social media, and you can register your participation and find out more atww1cc.org/bells.

If you don't have bells of your own, you can use the Bells of Peace App. This will automatically toll in concert 21 times at 11 am local on any smart phones with the app open.

It's available for free on iOS and Android mobile devices.  For more information and to download the app, visit ww1cc.org/app.
