The Chillicothe Transit Department will be holding a toy drive this holiday season. The department is gather toys for the upcoming Toys for Tots and Rock for Tots benefits.
The Transit Department will have one of its buses in the parking lot of the Chillicothe Walmart this Saturday, November 17th. Transit members will be on hand to collect donations of new toys from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
If you're unable to make it this Saturday, the department will conduct a second toy collection on Saturday, November 24th, also from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Walmart parking lot.
In addition to the collection dates at Walmart, Chillicothe Transit will also have a collection bus for toy donations at the Transit Station, located at 575 E. 7th Street, on Saturday, December 1st, again from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Toy donors will be able to drive through to drop their toys off.
