Franklin County Deputies Capture Escaped Kentucky Convicts

(Ashland, OH)  --  The Franklin County Sheriff's office is saying they were able to capture two escaped prisoners on the run from Kentucky last night in Ashland County.

Reports came in yesterday evening that a pair of convicts were on the run from Lewis County in Kentucky and may be in the Central Ohio area.  Both men had been locked up on burglary charges and were able to escape during a power outage.

Deputies spotted the inmates driving near Morse and Karl Roads in north Columbus and then chased them up I-71 to Mansfield where they were recaptured just before midnight.
