Nominations Open for Ohio Statehood Achievement Award

The Chillicothe Kiwanis Club is seeking nominations for their annual Ohio Statehood Day Achievement Award. Nominees for this award should be those who represent the “Spirit of Ohio” and who have made a difference in the lives of Ross County residents. 


The nominee should be someone who has advanced the ideals of the brotherhood of mankind, love of family, concern for the beauty of the region and spiritual growth of the soul. The Achievement Award committee will include these factors and the consideration of the nominee’s contributions to society, recognition of the nominee in his/her field of endeavor and overall accomplishments.


Nomination forms can be obtained at the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau located at 230 N. Plaza Blvd. Completed nominations should be returned to the Visitors Bureau by February 8, 2019 to be considered. 


The award will be presented to the recipient on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Chillicothe Statehood Day Breakfast that will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church.
