Temporary Signal Outage, Lane Restrictions Scheduled On U.S. 23 in Pike Co.

Temporary restrictions will be in effect on U.S. Route 23 in Pike County this Tuesday, February 26th for a signal project.

On Tuesday, February 26, ODOT District 9’s signal electricians will be replacing the cabinet and making necessary adjustments to the signal at the intersection of U.S. 23 and Second Street in Waverly.

Crews will be working from approximately 9 a.m. to noon, and during this time, the signal will not be in operation. In addition, temporary lane restrictions will also be in effect on U.S. 23, which will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

Throughout the morning, traffic will be maintained by ODOT crews and law enforcement officers, and motorists are reminded to use additional caution in the work zone.
