Londonderry Man Indicted on 7 Counts of Aggravated Murder

In Ross County, a Londonderry man has been indicted on 7 counts of aggravated murder and 9 other charges. According to records from the Ross County Clerk of Courts, James A. Rinehart, Jr., 39, was also indicted for rape, having weapons under disability, attempted murder, two counts of kidnapping, and four counts of aggravated robbery.

The charges reportedly stem from the February 4th killings of Leann Potts, Thomas Littler, and Rick Adams, as well as the violent assault of another woman. On the afternoon of February 4th, authorities were called to the 4500 block of Vigo Road, where they said they found Adams and a woman, both with life-threatening injuries. Adams later passed away; the woman survived. While on-scene at Vigo Road, authorities were alerted to a home on Bowman Road where they found Potts and Littler had been fatally shot.

Records show Rinehart was arrested on February 5th and has been in the Ross County Jail since then.
