Juvenile Charged After Making Threat Against Adena High School

A male juvenile from Roxabel has been charged with inducing panic following a threat made against Adena High School.

Authorities from the Ross County Sheriff's Office were made aware of the incident shortly after 8:00 a.m. Monday. It was brought to school administrators' attention that a student had viewed a video of another student, currently expelled, making a threat of violence against the school.

According to the Chillicothe Gazette, the boy confirmed to authorities that he had made the video on the Saturday prior. Captain Mike Preston of the Ross County Sheriff's Office tells the paper there was no evidence that the boy had any plans to follow through on the threat.
