Highland Coroner Rules Death of Cincinnati Man Accidental

Authorities in Highland County are investigating after the deceased body of a 37-year-old Cincinnati man was found at the bottom of a 70-foot cliff.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Cave Road shorty before 1:00 p.m. Monday on a report that a male victim had fallen in the Rocky Fork Creek Gorge.

The man, identified at 37-year-old Braden Bensinger of Cincinnati, was found deceased at the bottom of the cliff. The Highland County Coroner reports Mr. Bensinger died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head and a broken neck.

The death is being ruled an accident.
