Chillicothe Paving Continues Tuesday on Metzger, Governor's Way, Elsewhere

Another round of milling and paving is set to begin this Tuesday, July 2nd for the 2019 Chillicothe Street and Alley Program.

The Chillicothe Engineering Department reported Monday that new operations will begin tomorrow along Metzger, Governor's Way, Locust Street and St. Andrews Blvd.

The work along Metzger will take place from westbound Vine Street to the end of Vine St., with the work on Governor's Way taking place from University Drive westbound to the end of University Drive. The work on Locust Street will take place from Mill Street to Western Avenue, and the paving along St. Andrews Blvd. will run from Western Ave. to Glen Eagle Court.

Weather permitting, the work should last through Wednesday, July 3rd. Residents of these streets are advised to watch for parking restrictions.

Paving work also takes place through this Wednesday in the Yoctangee Park area. The Annex Road in Yoctangee Park, also known as Back Road, is set for milling and paving from Enderlin Circle to Kopp Street. The work also includes Yoctangee Parkway from Kopp Street to North High Street. Additionally, Erie Avenue is also set for milling and paving from Buckeye Street to Orange Street.

The work in these areas will take place from today, Monday, July 1st to Wednesday, July 3rd, weather permitting. Residents of these streets are also advised to be aware of parking restrictions.
