Woman, Two Juveniles Seriously Injured in Pike County Crash

A woman and two juveniles were transported to Columbus area hospitals on Wednesday as the result of a single-vehicle crash along Wakefield Mound Road in Pike County, Wednesday.

According to the Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ebony Glover, 27, of Lucasville, was traveling northbound along Wakefield Mound Road, near the intersection of Big Run Road, when her 2004 Pontiac Sunfire traveled off the right side of roadway and collided with a tree.

All three occupants sustained serious injuries in the crash and had to be extricated from the vehicle by mechanical means.

Ms. Glover was transported by MedFlight to Ohio State University Hospital. Her two juvenile passengers, Alyace Royster, 5, and Xander Royster, 3, both of Lucasville, were transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Units from the Atomic Fire Department, Scioto Township Fire Department, Pike Sheriff’s Office and Piketon Police Department assisted at the scene of the crash, which remains under investigation by the State Highway Patrol.
