Goodwill of South Central Ohio is providing educators within its eight-store service district an opportunity to gather some new reading material ahead of the new school year.

-

Goodwill Industries stores in the south-central Ohio region will be offering books, free of charge, to teachers from Wednesday, August 7th to Wednesday, August 21st.

-

“Throughout the year, our donors have been very generous in the number of books we receive. This is one small way we can show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the teachers in our communities,” said Marvin Jones, CEO of Goodwill.

-

This is the third year Goodwill has offered teachers free books. The offer is for teachers at any grade level, and this year, there’s no limit on the number of books teachers can take. They just need to present their school ID.

-

"It's just going to be a variety of books, just depending on the stores," said Goodwill of South Central Ohio Communications and Marketing Director, Jona Ison. "Anything from children's books, up through adult."

-

The offer is only good within the Goodwill Industries of South Central Ohio Service area, which is comprised of store locations in Chillicothe, Washington CH, Waverly, Logan, McArthur, Jackson, Circleville and Athens.

-
