LWV Hosts Chillicothe and Ross County Candidates' Night

The annual Chillicothe and Ross County "Candidates' Night" was hosted by the League of Women Voters Monday night, to inform the public on the election November 5th.

Fifteen candidates introduced themselves, including seven challengers, and fielded a long series of questions.

.

Only one issue is on the ballot, a half-mill 10-year operating levy for the expanding Ross County Park District. Ty McBee is the spokesman, who listed some of the well-known parks among the 2,000 acres they manage.

.

You can learn more at "My Ross County Parks and Trails" on Facebook, where volunteers can also answer questions.

.

Local league co-president Sharon Verhoff says she felt good about the event. The Chillicothe-Ross League can be found on the main League website.

.

The video of the event can be found in "Cav's Media" on Youtube, and should also be fed to the two local cable channels for repeated rebroadcast.
