Daylight Saving Time Set for 2 a.m., Sunday

24/7 News Source (Columbus, OH) -- Ohioans are getting an extra hour of sleep this weekend as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end around 2 a.m., Sunday morning. Clocks will fall back an hour to 1 a.m., which means any clocks you have which do not automatically update with the time change will need to be done by hand. Fire officials have long urged people to use the time change as an opportunity to refresh the batteries in their smoke alarms as a safety precaution to make sure the devices are in proper working order. Clocks will stay the same until next year when they spring forward on the weekend of March 8th.
