The Pickaway County Sheriff is investigating the wrongful death of a Columbus man, whose body was located Christmas Day in a Winchester Road driveway in Ashville.

The body of 33-year-old Michael Buechler was found to have multiple injuries. His vehicle was not in the area, but two dogs at the scene did belong to Buechler.

Buechler's vehicle was located later that night in Ashville, where 42-year-old Bobby Lee "Bear" White of Canal Winchester was driving it. He was apprehended and charged with Possession of Drugs, and Trafficking in Drugs. He is also a "person of interest" in the death of Michael Buechler.
