24/4 News Source -- A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Friday afternoon for the listening area. The advisory was issued on Thursday night around 10 p.m. and will last until 1 p.m., Friday. Forecasters said freezing rain and scattered snow showers could create slippery conditions on roadways and other hard surfaces. Officials at ODOT said they deployed approximately 1,200 crews to treat Ohio roads and bridges on Friday morning.
