EMS Calls Should Include Detailed Patient Info During Coronavirus Crisis

Ross County Sheriff George Lavender is asking community members to provide as much detailed information as possible when contacting emergency services, over the coming weeks.

Sheriff Lavender says for the safety of all parties, it is necessary for emergency callers to report if they've been exhibiting flu-like symptoms such as fever, coughing or respiratory distress.

The sheriff says you may also be asked about your recent travels as part of the call for service. He says any of these symptoms will not prevent callers for receiving EMS service, but will allow first responders to better prepare for the call, and provide the best care possible.
