Police in Chillicothe continue to investigate a deadly shooting from Monday afternoon that claimed the lives of two people.
The shootings happened around 4:15 p.m. Monday, April 13th at a home at 331 Mckellar Street. That's where officers found a male subject dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. A female was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound. She was taken to Grant Medical Center where she later died.
Chillicothe Police Captain Ron Meyers on Tuesday, April 14th identified the two deceased individuals as Tyler Hiatt, 24, and Tara Carver, 23, both of 331 McKeller Street.
Captain Meyers said the incident is still under investigation, with more information to come later.
