North Carolina Driver Injured in Ross County Crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred late Thursday afternoon on Frankfort-Clarksburg Pike, south of State Route 138. 

A vehicle driven by 31-year-old Terrence Hicks of Mooresville, North Carolina, was traveling southwest, when the vehicle crossed over the center line and drove off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck a utility pole, drove into a creek, and came to rest when it struck an embankment.

Hicks was transported to the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe before he was transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus with serious injuries.
