Ohio COVID-19 Average of New Cases at Lowest Point in a Month

(Columbus) -- The rate of COVID-19 infection is up across the state.

Health officials Friday said the total number of cases has increased more than seven percent from last week for a total of 40,424. Coronavirus-related deaths also rose to 2,058, an increase of 6.5 percent.

However, the rolling seven-day average of new cases is at its lowest point since April 15th.
