Adena Health Returns To Visitor Restrictions Due To COVID Spike

Adena Regional Medical Center will re-institute visitation restrictions beginning Monday, July 20th in response to increasing Coronavirus cases throughout the region and state.

The reinstated visitor restrictions will take effect at 8am on Monday with visitation then permitted only for end of life situations, major surgeries, maternity patients, assistance for the disabled and care-receiving minors. Permitted visitors will be screened prior to hospital admittance and masks will be required.

The Ohio Department of Health is reporting over 12-hundred new cases of COVID-19 and 28 more deaths. Thursday's update also revealed 115 new hospitalizations. 

New counties have been given a Red Level-Three Emergency status that include Scioto, Athens, Delaware, Union and Licking- joining Franklin, Fairfield, and Pickaway counties.
